Hello again,from Joe in Okla.   Just a quick note concerning Halli S-20.
After re-capping and alignment I was making some voltage measurements just
for comparison to the manual. All voltages seemed to be within tolerance
until I got to the BFO 6J5 tube. The plate voltage was only 5 volts?
Strangely enough the BFO was working but kind of weak. The S-20 has a
separate chassis mounted on top of the main chassis for the BFO. After
removing all the wires and removing the sub chassis I found another .01 Cap.
Yes it was really leaking. Measured less than 5000 ohms.  After repair the
BFO needed re-alignment but worked much better. It is amasing that it worked
at all with only 5 vdc on the plate? After working on a Super Pro and some
other old boatanchors receivers I should of known to look in every IF,RF and
BFO can for leaky caps. Thanks for your time.Joe w5jdy
