[Hallicrafters] Halli Colour

I've got an SX16, which is a light turquoise (blue-green) colour. This
appears to be original, unless both the cabinet and Front panel were cleaned
right down to the bare metal, resprayed, and the front panel engravings
re-done. Unlikely, IMHO, as the case is very rusty, and the paint peeling,
and there is no sign of any other colour underneath.

Yet everyone I know assumes that it must be a respray as "all Hallicrafters
are black crackle finish"

What colours did Hallicrafters use? Weren't the S-38s a dark grey crackle?
