[Hallicrafters] S19 Sky Champion

Hello all members of the various reflectors...  from Joe w5jdy in Okla. I
have successfully re-capped and re-aligned
a Halli S19 Sky Champion...  The one thing I'm not satisfied with is the
mail dial... a round metal plate with all the
frequencies of the various bands...   It has corroded or tarnished to the
point it is almost unreadable....  I thought the lines
and numbers were embossed and I could clean and re-paint the dial and then
rub black or white marking stick in the imprints but,they are just printed
on...  Can someone email me some info about this problem...
