[Hallicrafters] Opinions on the SX-110

It is nothing more than a reboxed SX-99 which was the
mainstay of Novice operators back in the late 1950s
and early 1960s.

It is definitely better than the S-38 series and is an
"OK" receiver for its time frame.

Of course no one told us how "bad" our receivers were
back then so we made thousands of contacts and had a
ball.  Today's newcomers wouldn't even consider using
the receivers that we used back then.  They have been
"spoiled" by "modern" technology.
