[Hallicrafters] Decals - Use of duplicator stensils?

Peter -
I used a number of duplicating machines back in the 1950's and 60's, both
stencil type (Mimeograph was one tradename) and spirit duplicators. I
remember both types as having what we would now consider very poor letter
and line definition. I don't think the processes are capable of the kind
of line and character quality we are used to from modern offset printing
and silkscreen processes.

Its an innovative idea, but the quality problems of the old processes were
among the reasons that the xerox process was such a success.
