[Hallicrafters] can't key my HT37

Have you opened the relay container and actually inspected the relay? All
the switching performed by the VOX relay (except for contacts "J" and "K"),
are used for external switching arrangements.
Since only J&K are involved and these contacts are connected to the MODE
switch, I would check the mode switch and the relay contacts themselves. Is
your mic good? Incidentally, hearing and seeing the relay actuate doesn't
guarantee you have a working relay. Good luck
I would imagine I have a similar problem with my 37, in that the VOX
position works fine but the MOX position doesn't work at all. I never did
any troubleshooting to find out why because the rig works. But I will get
to it eventually.

Subject: [Hallicrafters] can't key my HT37
Replaced 4 tubes plus installed new finals in my HT37, also replaced all
electroylitic caps.
When I go to the MOX position I can see and hear the relay clicking open and
closed.
I can't seem to get a key-down indication tho....I tried a hand-key using
the key jack with no joy.....I tried going to MOX while in the DSB position
and could not get any indication on the output meter or my wattmeter.
I wonder why I can't get any indication of the HT37 going into transmit
mode....no output on the meter and nothing on my wattmeter.
All voltages are what they are supposed to be...I get -49vdc bias when I go
to MOX .
Is there some jumper plug/connection I am missing???
Places to look....things to check???
Guess I am gonna have to check all oscillators/VFO, etc for activity.
Any and all suggestions are welcomed.
