Well,

Severe senior moment... MY radio is not an HA-1, rather an HT-2... the dual
channel "walkie-talkie" from the Viet Nam era.  One channel was on the same
band as the PRC-25's et. al.  (30-50 mHz), the other was on the civilian
aircraft band.  These were commonly distributed to village chiefs and other
such folks.. ostensibly to keep in touch with Green Beanie teams, for
letting 'em know of potential VC infiltration.  In actuality, they used them
mostly for their inter-village drug trading or sending us off on wild-good
chases for non-existant VC... or ambushes.

I think it was one of the last Hallicrafters products... but not sure.
