Like Tom, I find the toothbrush and good old soap and water method works 
very nicely -- and safely --for wrinkle finish panels.

For smooth panels, I wash them in soap and water, then buff gently with 
my very favorite stuff in a bottle (besides Glenmorangie Single Malt 
Scotch), Novus Plastic Polish #2).  It removes discoloration -- like old 
nicotine stains -- polishes the panel to "like new" condition and 
doesn't molest panel markings.
