Gary,

I knew of a fellow who had bought a Zenith Stratosphere console radio. The 
current value of such a radio (wildly guessed by me) is about 
$10,000.  That guy stuffed new innards into the caps in his radio. In 
place, so the unsoldering would not mar the originality of the radio.

I am not going to do that to any Hallicrafters radio I might have, but some 
folks might want old looking new caps.
