[Hallicrafters] S-108 parts needed

I need the chrome strip that runs horizontally across the middle of the
front on the S-108 radio.  One from an SX-110 might actually work, but may
need some trimming because I think it might be just a schosch longer.

 

I am also looking for the dial glass for the S-108. The previous owner of
the one I have dissolved the numbers and scale off of part of the dial
glass. I assume he tried to clean it with some solvent that wasn't good for
those numbers.  If anyone makes water transfer decals then that would also
work.

 

I can send you a picture of this radio if you want more info on the problem
with the dial.
