[Hallicrafters] Why I'm a hallicrafters guy...

I still remember the green glow of seeing my first hallicrafters reciever,in 
the early fifties,I was a teen and a friend took me to visit an "Old Guy" ..He 
was listening to a group of locals hams on 3.850 AM of course..I just 
couldn't take my eyes off this beautiful radio he had..It was the SX-42..Man was that 
thing Beautiful !! from that day on I was bitten by the Ham Radio bug and 
love it to this day..what a great Hobby...Ahhhh..the good ole days..73's ron
