[Hallicrafters] Power supply Ripple

Does anyone know the maximum acceptable ripple on the low voltage power
supply in a HT-32B transmitter or any of the other Hallicrafters SSB
transmitters?  The ARRL Handbook says that for speech amplifiers ripple
should be no more than 0.01%.  I measure the ripple on my LV power supply at
30 mV which would be 0.01%.  I am having trouble getting the VOX to drop
out.  The manual says that power supply ripple can cause that problem.
