Ray,
Here I am the one who mentioned it yet I am not 100% sure. But, I know I
have seen HA-1 keyers with later knobs installed. I will have to look around
again. My keyer (marked HA-1) has knobs like the HT-37/SX-111 radios. I have
seen others that match the HT-44/SX-117. I have assumed over time that this
was the HA-1A, but I cannot be 100% sure. Perhaps a trip through some old
advertisements will help -- I will note further if I find anything.
Admittedly it could be hams who changed out knobs leaving us late day folks
wondering what was in the minds in the design department at Hallicrafters!!
73 for now,

Bill and others,
Bill mentioned the HA1 Keyer. I have a couple of them here, one in like
new condition. He also mentioned the HA-1A version. I have not heard of
that one. what are the differences between the original and the A model?
Roy
