[Hallicrafters] S-53 and 5R10 receivers for sale

I need to reduce my collection and as a result I must part with these two
receivers, both in good working condition on all bands.

The 5R10 is very nice, shiny chrome escutcheon, excellent charcoal cabinet
with barely visible surface scratches and a rub on one corner, solid fiber
bottom and back covers. Original manual is included. All knobs have the
correct chrome inserts (not the brushed inserts common on other receivers).
All paper caps and the electrolytic has been replaced. Speaker has been
replaced with a new one. It hears pretty well with a 15 foot wire. This is a
nice bookshelf piece.  Asking price is $45 plus shipping via Priority Mail
or UPS, your choice.

The S-53 is clean and works well. I don't recall if I replaced the
electrolytic but there is no hum and it hears well on all bands. The front
escutcheon has a minor depression near the tuning knob. Paint is original
and good, all correct original knobs, and a bound manual copy is included.
The speaker is good and solid. Asking price is $50 plus shipping via
Priority Mail or UPS, your choice.

If anyone is interested please let me know. I hope these prices are
reasonable and I wanted to offer them to the group before doing the ebay
thing. They are good receivers and won't be DOA!
