John,
A 25 volt line to voice coil transformer will work just fine. I should have
a few around here someplace, send me your mailing address, it's yours for
the postage. You may also want to consider having the old one rewound.
Heyboer Transformer in Grand Haven MI. has done a number of them for me at
very reasonable prices, if interested let me know and I'll send you their
address and phone number.
