[Hallicrafters] HCI Special Event Continued Sunday!

By request, we will do the HCI W9WZE Special Event again today, Sunday April
3rd. It will begin at 12:30 PM EDT, (1630 UTC) and continue until 3:00 PM EDT,
(1900 UTC). 	
	
The frequency will be 14.292 MHZ usb.	
	
We will be using the Halligan's Hallicrafters' club call of 'W9WZE'. The first
call of William Halligan, Sr., the founder of the Hallicrafters Company. 	
	
The purpose for the Special Event is to commemorate the 1000th consecutive HCI
Net done by NCS station W8DBF, Duane Fischer, Flint, Michigan, USA. 	
	
A very special, will never happen again, suitable for framing, colorful
certificate with numerous photos and personalized text is available upon request
to all who check in and are recognized by the NCS or any of his designated relay
stations. If you can not check in for some reason, you can still qualify for the
certificate by sending a brief reception report with details, such as call signs
of stations you heard and times etc.  

Send a ready to use address label, a QSL is nice - but not required, to the
mailing address for 'W9WZE' as shown in QRZ.COM You do not need to include
postage or an envelope.   	
	
Those who have checked in already, do not need to do so again to qualify for a
certificate, but are more than welcome to stop by and say "Hey!" just for fun.	
	
The designated relay stations are K0EJF, Jerry in Denver, Colorado and K7JX,
Casey in Tacoma, Washington. If available, we may also have KG4KZG, Dale in Fort
Lauderdale, Florida assisting. 	
	
All designated relay stations will be using the call of 'W9WZE', but any station
may relay a station not bein gheard by the NCS or designated relay stations.
Simply say "Relay" and wait to be recognized. Then give your call sign and the
call sign of the station being relayed in, operator's first name, state, time in
UTC and RST.	
	
Remember to set your clocks ahead one hour at 2:00 AM on Sunday April 3rd!
Spring ahead - Fall back!	
	
I hope to hear many of you on Sunday. Let's see if we can get all fifty states
in, we got forty-nine once, but never all fifty. Let's go for it!
