[Hallicrafters] SX-101 question

I just went and checked my SX-101 mkIII and lo and behold, the knob
turns
but the cap doesn't.  So, I need to know this also.

  The ant. trimmer knob is calibrated 5....0....5

 My question is, is the knob set at the center zero point
with the trimmer cap at minimum, or maximum?

 Its not address in the manual and like a dip stick,
I didn't make note of it before I removed the knob.
