Hi Andy,
Boy it was beautiful wx up your way a week ago! We were up visiting
Mother in W. Chatham, thought abt you, didn't have much time for other
than chores, didn't even get out on the water.
Anyhow, I haven't seen any responses to you, hope you got some. If
the GSB-100 has been in operation recently, $150 is a reasonable price.
The Gonset rigs have a history of burning up the pwr xfmr. I have a
GSB-101 amp with a replacement xfmr. I was asking the same question a yr
ago, had a line on a -100 to match with it, and got some replies from the
VSB buddies. Didn't save them, but as I remember, they said it is a good
rig, remembering the xfmr. I passed on it, the owner had no idea of the
condx, plus I was a little space constrained (it's big).
I've got my Invader 2000 ready, with the SX-101A, for tmw, CX. Hope
to make a few QSO's.
