And, better than Shirley or Sweety.  I think they did it for same
reasoning they give cars, every single year new names.  Back in those
days though, cars were beefy and muscular and got names to suit such
as mustang, LaSabre, etc.

Does anyone know why Hallicrafters decided to name a series of
transceivers
after storms? Such as the SR-400 Cyclone,  SR-500 Tornado and SR-2000
Hurricane.
What was the thinking behind the selection of these names,unbridled
power? Or?
