Bill, It is possible you have the little known SX-101 MK-IIIA. This version 
was built for a short time just before SX-101A production. It has a Dampp 
Chaser, separate oscillator tube filament transformer for oscillator tube filament 
always on, and a product detector. It covers 80 through 10 meters with two 
converter bands like the SX-101A but has the white dial pointer.
