[Hallicrafters] Join Halloween Eve Saturday HCI Net

Please take time out from plundering the poor pumpkin of his seeds and join us
on Saturday October 30th for the Hallicrafters Collectors International 40 meter
Net. The pre-Net portion will commence at 12:30 PM EDT, (1630 UTC) with Peter,
Peter Pumpkin Eater giving a brief lecture on the proper way to gut a pumpkin by
using your Hoover vacuum, the flexible hose and that stiff toothed brush that is
supposed to comb the loose hair off your dog's back without leaving bald spots!	
	
This will be followed by the HCI Net proper at 1:00 PM EDT, (1700 UTC) when
Wanda The Wayward Witch, who had her license to pilot a broom revoked for unsafe
buzzing of power lines to get her battery charged for the hydraulic landing
struts to function, will do some fly by cackles that are certain to convince
your neighbors their toaster oven is haunted!	
	
The frequency will be 7.280 MHZ lsb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and the
radio controlled ghastly ghosts, grunting goblins, shrieking black cat's with
tails attached to sputtering sparklers, werewolves howling like protesters at a
political rally and smiling pumpkins with some serious dental issues all
performing as the computer hidden in the Grim Reaper's body bag sends the
carefully choreographed commands for the Halloween haunted haystack hysteria
through the RS/232 interface to the RC controller.      	
So join us for some trick or treat fun, a costume is optional but HCI accepts no
liability for false teeth, fillings, crowns, caps or peg teeth exiting their
oral residences due to jaw breakers, bun busters, caramel Got Ya's! or milk duds
that relocate your molars! Hey, candy is dandy, but boat anchors won't rot your
teeth!      	
	
Treat us to your presence and remember to leave those spooky things that go glow
in the dark some Ghost Toasties and Evaporated Milk for a snack! Hear you then
above the solar winds that wail and the lunar laminations from green cheese gas!
