[Hallicrafters] S40

I am in the process of restoring an S40. Unfortunately the original electrodynamic speaker was replaced with a PM. If anyone has a junker set with this speaker in good shape I would like to know.

I also found an extra paper cap connected between the tuning cap and the antenna tuning trimmer of the high band. Anyone know about this. Looks like a mod because I cannot find it in any of the S40 or its cousins schematics. Any ideas?

Anyone knows how to get a new main dial cover?

In the meantime I will just connect a PM speaker like in the S40a.
