[Hallicrafters] SR 400

 I am in the process of repairing an SR400 power supply. The values of
bleeder resistors call for
15k ohm at 10 watt. Someone has replaced them with 22k ohm at 10 watt but
they still seem to run very warm. I suspect they are close to their 10 watt
rating. One of the bleeders was open when I received it and the cap it was
across has shorted out. Has anyone much experience with these power
supplies.
