Hi Gene;
It sounds like a resistor I found open in a SX-28 I was working on. It
was the same metal-wraped, tapped, riveted to the side of the chassis,
wire-wound resistor. It was 15k tapped at 4k, rated at 7 watts. It was a
bleeder resistor with the 4k end going to the choke and output filter
cap. The 11k end went to ground. The tap fed a 100 volt buss to the
screen grids. I hope this helps some. Good luck.
