It can be done.....
Do you have a 100kc calibrator?  Use that or
If the radio receives, then find a SW station close to the "book" alignment
frequencies and proceed.
You will need some kind of output indicator.
There is a lot of "Kentucky windage" in the SW method, but it should get you
close.
