[Hallicrafters] SR-400

     Hello,
              another SR-400 restoration story...

A friend of mine (Bob, IK0OKT) asked me to post here his "help" 
request to the Halli-world...

The facts :

*) power out OK only on 80 meters (more than 200 W), but it's low and 
decreasing on higher bands... 35 W on 40 meters... Few watts on 10...
*) reception is OK on all bands.
*) all Hv caps replaced on PS, even the couple inside the rig
*) oscillators seem OK
*) plate choke replaced with no changes
*) driver and finals tested OK
*) neutralization a bit critical...

A symptom (?) : the xtal-locked  oscillator output level is approx. 
at 70 % on 80 meters, and drop to 50 % on 10 meters, but the 
7059-tube voltages and resistors values are OK...

   Any suggestion there ??
