You are going to have to connect to the oscillator
stage.  Remember that this frequency is going to
differ from the actual received frequency by the i.f.
which may vary slightly from specifications.

If the net is AM you won't have much of a problem. 
However, if the net is SSB you can be even farther
from the actual frequency because of the BFO and the
tuning to one side of the frequency to get reliable
reception.
