Hallicrafters Experts,
I recently acqiured my fathers Hallicrafters receiver. I know very little
about it except it appears to be 50'ish with a brown metal case and a white
plastic face. I would call it Halli-lite as it onlu has 6 bands (19 M, 25 M, 31 M,
49 M, AM and FM.).Im trying to get a repair 4 ganged switch but I first need a
model number. The tube-based receiver has a S/N of 210,001 and another number
808051 on a back label. The gang switch has a broken wiper plate on the
second level and I need it or the whole 4 gang swith to repair it. I suspect the
switch was broken because someone tried to pry off the front plastic bezel and
in doing so, broke 3 of the top speednuts that hold it to the metal case, free.
They then rattled around the unt and eventually found their way into the
switch. I have fond memories of this unit as it was my fathers and desire to
repair it. Can anyone help?
