the TW-2000 is an uncommon radio (have had 4 of them
through here) and are quite valuable.

as bill halligan, and the founder of zenith (i forget
his name) were close friends, they shared some ideas.

one of these came out as the TW 2000. the zenith
trans-oceanics were quite similar (tho hallicrafters
used a better bandswitch, and had better coverage).
they even used the same tubes, and battery.

the TW-1000, and TW-2000, are similar, the TW-2000 had
more options.

you have a fine radio

common problems are the power supply, and the 1L6

note: if you are restoring the power supply, get a 1R5
to use in place of the 1L6 till you are done. the 1L6
is scarce and you dont wish to blow it.
