I have found that a General Motors Auto paint color called "Silver Sand" is
a very close match to the typical Hallicrafters silver lids.  It is
generally available at any automotive store under "Dupli-Color" brand,  # DS
GM 326 in 5 oz cans.  These cans also have the better quality adjustable fan
pattern, blue spray head that Sherwin-Williams uses and I suspect that
Dupli-Color is actually a Sherwin-Williams product.
