Bill, A very accomplished hobbyist and BA enthusiast, John Kelly; N3GVF 
(great vintage fun- SK) used to make replacement labels to finish his restorations. 
He told me he would dip them in tea or coffee afterwards to age them a little 
for a faux appearance to make the finished result look more authentic.
