[Hallicrafters] My slip!

In my haste to connect with my fellow boatanchor enthusiasts this 
morning, I inadvertantly sent a "VTVM for sale" message under the 
mysterious heading "SP-600 dial slip".  The voltmeter offer, in fact, 
has absolutely nothing to do with dial slip -- though I did employ the 
VTVM in question when servicing the SP-600 on which the dial slip 
occured. I was able to cure the dial slip, incidentally, but the VTVM 
was no aid in that particular process.  The meter was, however, useful 
in calibrating the dial that had been slipping after I treated the slip
