[Hallicrafters] How old is my Hallicrafters S-20R?

Per  http://www.qsl.net/la5ki/halli.htm
S-20R Sky Champion General Coverage Receiver, Single Conversion "Sky 
Champion". 4 bands, 0,545-44MHz, internal speaker, two tuning knobs. 
Production Year 1939-45.
I dont think there is a serial# db. If there is I would like to have a look 
at it.
