Correction -- the thread on the BC-342, BC-312 is on the Milsurplus list, not Boatanchors.  Minor detail, but I didn't want to drive someone crazy looking for it.

Does this mean if ya can't 'cubit' you should square it?

For easy conversion keep this handy:

one League = 1019.599 Cubits

one Furlong = 36.91699 Cubits

one Fathom = 0.335609 Cubits
