Gerry, I had this same problem when I cleaned up my
SX-110 (without taking notes). With help from this
list, I finally ended up with the light mounted on the
bracket holding the standby receive switch, slid on
from the left (looking from the rear). The light does
not give good illumination from any mounting position!
I speculated that it was an afterthought for the
designers.
