There is more to recapping than just using the same values. Perhaps you
replaced a cap with a certain temperature co efficient with one of the
same value but with a different temp. coefficient. New caps can have a
different impedance than the original. Placement can be important. are
they in the same position and to the same ground as the original? This is
why I don't believe in just totally recapping a radio. I only replace
caps when they fail. Good luck.
