SX-88's when they become available will often sell in the stratosphere 
because #1- they are a very good receiver; #2- only around 80 or so remaining ones 
are documented and known to still exist. There are a few folks including me who 
maintain lists of owners of known SX-88's with serial numbers for the purpose 
of keeping track of them and to become aware of any new ones surfacing. I 
would advise against shipping one if you do find one and buy it. Most folks don't 
know how to pack properly or won't and with most of the shippers getting even 
rougher lately it is very easy to kill one. Whenever I find one I get in the 
car and go get it and don't think twice about it.
