If a SX-100 can go for over $1,200 then a SX-88 should be worth $20,000.
They only made around 500 SX-88s.  Price here has to do with rarity and it
being a fine receiver to boot.  (If you want one and there are few in
existance, you have to pay to get one of the few remaining owners to sell,
especially if they are aware of how collectable they are today).  I would
guess there are not too many SX-88 owners out there not aware of how rare
and collectable this receiver is today.  Look at Collins KW-1s.  They made
150 of them and less then 75 still survive today.
