Although there are times when some discussions can get out of hand, I
don't see this discussion heading that way. Plus, in your response you
have sighted a serious problem and activity, which you either have
personal experience or direct knowledge, that should be of interest to
any Hallicrafters reflector members that may also be ARRL members. Rather
than sending people off to go join another group to talk about it there,
this might be of interest to the Hallicrafters reflector community. Since
the ARRL is a nonprofit organization, I'm even more curious as to who or
why some other group or groups would want to take on the job
responsibility of representing the amateur community at large.
Additionally, all the ARRL financial reports (monies coming in, monies
going out, etc.) for the last several years are available in their Annual
Reports on their general population web site to read and digest.
