Hi Doc et al,
    Doc I suggest you take the faceplate to an artist who does 
fine-detail work and have him/her repaint the black on the unit (after 
polishing the faceplate), then put a clear-coat over it.  I have 
retouched some with model paints but not with 100% satisfaction.
    Regarding BPL and Politics - haven't we had enough? Or should we 
next start on Religion?
