After experimenting wtih everything under the sun and using some pretty
tough cleaning utensils to the detriment of the
switch contacts, I found that proxybrushes for the gum and teeth to be
excellent for this type of work. Won't harm the delicate contacts, just dab
with Deoxit and go.
They have small nylon bristles that don't come off and come in a couple of
different shapes.
They're found in every drug chain and supermaket.
Pretty cheap insurance.
