[Hallicrafters] SX-111 Twin Peaks?

Good evening all,

On the Sx-111, I aligned the 50.75kc, 1.6 & 1.7mc (1650) and the side bands
are still reversed. Is it possible that there could be 2 peaks on the
50.75kc? When I peaked 50.75kc the rx perked up but the condition did not
change. I think it got backwards better.

If I use the 5kc filter I can tune the correct SB with difficulty.

Is it possible someone aligned the entire rf section with the wrong (upper)
SB selected? Would aligning with the wrong SB selected cause a problem like
this? (Reversed Sidebands)

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance, George KB2Z
