I have received a lot of responses on the SX 100 set, all asking "What
is the asking price/electrical condition ? Where is it" etc.

To answer these questions, I am replying to the list.

Chester Electronics (Home office in Kenosha, Wisconsin)  has a branch in
Largo, Florida. The set is located in Florida. A man named Steve seems
to be handling the task of selling it. The store is located at 911
Missouri Avenue North, Largo, Florida 33770-1559. Telephone number is:
AC 727-585-1559. Steve will see the owner on Saturday and find out what
the asking price is.

As to cosmetic appearance, it looked almost brand new, at least to me. I
did not make a detailed inspection of the set. As to electrical
condition, I do not know. I think Steve said he had played it and
listened to the AM stations. Beyond that I do not know any more on it's
condition but as with all older sets, probably could use a good cleaning
and tune up.

It was one of two sets sitting back in the Kitchen area, the other I
think was a Collins J 51? which had $400 written on the top of the set,
but Steve did not know if that was a price paid or asking price.

I do not know the value of either set but for someone who wanted an SX
100, this looked like a good chance to get one.

to do anything I can to help out.
