[Hallicrafters] BAMA help

I am trying to download the manual for the GR 1650-A impedance bridge
(found a pristine one cheap at the Surplus Property Office of the local
university - YEA!!)  Anyway I downloaded the DejaVu program and the 
manual but when I try to view it all I get is gibberish.  Any advice?  I 
use Netscape, BTW.

I tried to contact Ken Grimm first but the message bounced for some 
reason.  Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?
