[Hallicrafters] More questions on SX-100

"Almost brand new"? Hmmm. I thought they stopped selling them forty years ago.
(chuckle) Maybe you need to get a Hallicrafters guy to give it a little tune up
and align it for you? If it performs as poorly as you say, something is
obviously wrong.

I have an almost brand new SX-100 that is no where the receiver that the
HQ-180 is.  I owned this receiver and I can tell you that the only thing
that the SX-100 has going for it is it appearance.

Don't you remember an article on using a metal angle to brace up the chassis
to prevent frequency jumping.
