[Hallicrafters] SX-100 questions.

Hi All,
I have a few questions about the SX-100.

1. What is the difference between the MK1 & the MK2?

2. How is the stability of this critter for long term copy of a SSB or
CW signal. Even some "premium" receivers (like the National NC-183D I
overhauled for a friend) are drifty.

3. How "good" is the overall skirt selectivity for CW etc. I see it
uses LC tuned IF cans for selectivity rather than an Xtal filter?

4. Is this a "smooth" receiver for tuning, especially when using
extremely NARROW audio filters for CW (<100 Hz wide).

5. Finally, is this a rather "quiet" receiver or does it have a high
noise floor?

73 from the "Beaconeers Lair".
