Hi Duane --

I've been using DeoxIt for years with no problems.

I have heard about the problems of the wafer absorbing the cleaner and
starting to conduct.  From past discussions on this there are two items that
seem to come through.  First,  it's a polarizing issue as we've all
observed.  Second,  the problem seems to apply mainly to the old Phenolic
type wafers used on radio prior to 1940 or so.
