Hi Bob,
I have restored many boat anchors and the one product that will do the job
is found at your super market.
Its Dow Scrubbing Bubbles. Comes in foam and spray.
It will leave your chassis factory fresh.
The only thing to watch out for is not use it on bakelite such as knobs,
plastic is ok. Some rigs which have cheap paint lettering on front panel or
tube numbers will also be affected. So just try a little area at
first.Sponge off good with clear water. Then since the grime which acted
like a preservative is gone recoat with plain Pledge furniture polish.
