[Hallicrafters] Where to from here?

Jeff,    
    After using your S-120 for a while, you will notice that the tuning knob 
on that rcvr is not the easiest to grip and move as well as the difficulty of 
tuning in single sideband stations (snds like Donald Duck). The next steps up 
in order would be a S-53 or its   later iteration the S-107. Then would come a 
SX-99 or SX110. Then get a SX - 100 for a really nice rcvr and a SX28 for the 
real classic. All of these receivers are still relatively affordable. But 
remember, this is my opinion and everyone will have their own favorites. You 
might want to buy a copy of the book Radios by Hallicrafters by Chuck Dachis. It 
has all the info you need and more. Mike KF6KXG
