Douglas:

It does appear that you have an RBK series receiver. (I think Mike 
concurs). I took the RF cage cover off of my RBK-16 and looked for a 
white wire on the last bandswitch wafer but did not find one. Tell me 
what the connected end of the white wire connects to and I will bounce 
it off of mine. Also, if you want, I can look for a schematic of the 
front end with the AR  RF tube. I know I have one or two because I was 
using them on my receiver to check wiring.
You will also notice that the power supply filtering is different along 
with several other addition parts here and there.
